Miller Communications Inc. was formed in 1999 as an expert provider of web content, marketing collateral, employee communications advisory services, editing and engaging business and technical writing.

President and principal consultant Doug Miller has more than 25 years experience practicing internal corporate communications, media relations and journalism. Among his professional titles have been director of internal communications at Citibank and Citigroup; manager of internal communications at IBM’s North America Sales, Server Group and RS/6000 computer divisions; editor of Think, IBM’s corporate employee magazine; and New York State news editor for a major global wire service.

Our areas of expertise involve the writing, editing and production of business publications (web content, annual reports, press releases, newsletters, marketing brochures, case studies, direct-marketing letters, trade press articles, white papers, technical articles; commemorative books); executive speech writing; advertising; analysis of the effectiveness of employee and client communications; and commercial journalism.

Some of our many award-winning projects have included Outlook  magazine for Avon employees, media promotion kits, Opportunity Journal magazine, content for IBM’s Human Ability and Accessibility Center and financial services sector websites, Avon and Urban League annual reports, special employee publications for Thomson Reuters and speeches for NYU Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital executives.
